New Hope Kapolei Weekend Gatherings

Saturdays at 6PM Sundays at 8AM &10AM

As you enter the doors to New Hope Kapolei, a warm and casual atmosphere will greet you. Each week as we gather together, we seek to meet God and discover timely and timeless ways to make progress in our daily lives as Christ followers. We strive to present God’s message in relevant, practical, and creative ways that impact lives for eternity. Such ways may include a drama sketch, a dance from the halau, a special song, or even a testimony of someone’s life.
Adults congregate to worship and hear the message of God’s word. For Sunday gatherings, children are encouraged to attend the KidZone or Nursery, housed in Building G on the Kapolei Middle School campus. Both Junior High (Journey) and High School (4-Life) also meet on Sundays at 10 a.m. in G building.

Periodically, classes are held for spiritual growth. The topics vary deal with topics such as finances, prayer, the Bible, marriage, and parenting.

To foster a sense of connection and community for those that attend our gatherings, we provide refreshments after each gathering.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just bring yourself or a friend! We welcome you as you. Come dressed however you feel comfortable as we are a casual kind of group. Our messages are drawn from the Word of God, so bring a Bible if you have one. But our notes and screen presentations make it possible to follow along whether you have a Bible or not.

What if I have Children?

Nursery
New Hope Kapolei offers nursery care for infants up through two years old on Sundays at both the 8am and10am Gatherings. There is also a video room available to the right of the front entrance of the main Sanctuary for parents with infants.

Mission Statement: In the New Hope Kapolei Nursery, our goal is to provide a safe, loving, and nurturing atmosphere for infants and toddlers up through two years of age. It is our intent to partner with parents to help children know, love, and follow Jesus Christ.
Each Sunday: Your child’s safety is our top priority. In order to assure that, each child is to be signed in on the attendance sheet - the same parent/guardian who signs the child in MUST sign the child out.
How the System Works: As you sign your child in, you will be given a bright green wrist bracelet with the child’s ID#. Please do not cut or take the bracelet off. Should the need arise to contact you during service, we will flash your child’s ID# on the screen. This means that you are asked to report directly to your child’s class.
What if my Child is Sick? In order to insure a safe environment for everyone, children with the following SYMPTOMS will not be able to stay in the nursery: fever, diarrhea, vomiting, runny nose, throat or ear infection, red watery eyes, rash, or any contagious diseases. Thank you for your understanding.
What About Snacks? Upon sign in you will be asked if you will allow your child to have a light snack that we provide. Please let us know if your child has any allergies that we should be aware of.

KidZone
Welcome! As a parent, we know that one of your main concerns is for your child’s safety, comfort, and development. Here at New Hope Kapolei, we share those concerns and desire God’s best for each and every child. We have a team of dedicated people who put in a tremendous amount of effort into helping the children grow. We invite you to bring your child to our KidZone this weekend and let them experience God’s love together with other kids!

What to expect: After you check your child in, they will join the entire Ark as they gather to praise and worship God together. During this gathering time, the kids will sing upbeat songs, learn about the Bible, and make big discoveries about God through experiential learning.

Classes are based on the child’s age. In these smaller groups, each led by a caring, committed leader, the kids will feel free to ask questions, make discoveries about God, and share their faith. They will learn what it means to follow Jesus and explore how to apply God’s Word to their daily life.

When does KidZone meet?
We meet at 8am & 10am Sunday mornings

Who can attend KidZone?
Children age three through Fifth Grade.

Nursery
New Hope Kapolei offers nursery care for infants up through two years old during our 10am gathering on Sunday mornings.

What about Teens & Youth
Journey (Junior High, 6th-8th Grade)
Whether you’re a preteen or teen you need the inspiration and fuel for the journey of life God has before you. Journey is here to help Junior High students and their parents along the way. Students worship in a fun, interactive way and are coached in topics that matter to them. Join us in G-108 on Sunday at 10am.

4 Life (High School)
During an important season of life we think teens can make choices that will stay with them 4Life! 4 Life is about igniting and equipping a generation of students to live big lives for God. The primary meeting for 4 Life happens at 10am on Sundays in G Bldg.
